Victor Mesa News: DFA'd by Miami
The Marlins designated Mesa for assignment Tuesday.
The 24-year-old received his first taste of the big leagues in 2025 but struggled in 16 games, going 6-for-32 (.188 average) with one home run and a 5:5 BB:K. Mesa had a .303/.374/.513 slash line across 42 Triple-A games and could generate some interest on the waiver wire.
