King is a high-upside lefty starter who broke out in 2025 as a teenager. The Jays gave King a seven-figure bonus in the third round of the 2024 draft and he logged a 2.48 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 105:37 K:BB in 61.2 innings across the Florida Complex League and Single-A. King's walk rate spiked from 7.1 percent to 17.9 percent after the promotion to Single-A, around the time of his 19th birthday, but his 38.1 percent strikeout rate was the fifth-best mark among pitchers with 30-plus innings at Single-A. King has the fastball and breaking ball to dominate, he just needs to improve his below-average changeup and iron out his control. He has a chance to finish 2026 as a top 10 dynasty pitching prospect, but King is extremely risky and multiple years away from the majors. Read Past Outlooks
