Tena cracked the Nationals' Opening Day roster for the 2025 season before being demoted to Triple-A in mid-June, though he had another short stint in the majors from late July to mid August. He posted a .669 OPS across 169 major-league plate appearances while logging three steals (in four attempts), 16 RBI, 19 runs and 13 doubles. Tena stole 21 bases in Triple-A and provides some fantasy value for his baserunning, but his ceiling will be naturally limited if he continues to sit against southpaws.
