Lockridge was on the Padres' Opening Day roster in 2025 but saw his playing time steadily decline after a stint on the IL due to a hamstring injury. He was optioned to Triple-A in late June before being dealt to the Brewers at the trade deadline, and he was on Milwaukee's major-league roster in August before being sent back to the minors. Lockridge doesn't provide much power, having logged just five home runs over the past two seasons across the majors and minors.
