Crisantes is a hit-first second baseman who has already had multiple arm surgeries including early-2025 shoulder surgery that limited him to 34 games last year. He had an excellent 2024 season, logging a 144 wRC+ across rookie ball and Single-A. Crisantes slashed .252/.358/.415 with four home runs, six steals and more walks (13.9 BB%) than strikeouts (12.6 K%) prior to his injury at High-A. He was unlucky on balls in play (.257 BABIP) and was still 11 percent better than league average. In the field, Crisantes' fringe-average arm will prevent him from being a high-end defender, and he could slide to first base/designated hitter. Such a move would put a lot of pressure on Crisantes' bat. If it all works out, he'll master his current air-pull approach and hit 20-plus homers while logging high-end ratios at second base.
