Liam McNeeley Injury: Sits out G League game

McNeeley was ruled out ahead of the G League Greensboro Swarm's game Monday against the Windy City Bulls due to a back injury.

The Hornets assigned McNeeley to the G League over the weekend, but the rookie first-round pick looks like he'll have to wait a little bit longer to return to action for the Swarm while he manages the injury. Though he's signed to a standard contract with the Hornets, McNeeley could end up seeing the bulk of his playing time in Greensboro the rest of the season if the parent club remains in relatively good health on the wing and at forward.
