Bidunga was his typical efficient self around the rim, taking all eight shots from within the paint and connecting on seven while finishing just one board shy of what would have been his eighth double double of the season. The sophomore big man also redirected a couple of shot attempts, the eighth time in nine conference games that he's recorded multiple blocks. Among those was an emphatic rejection of JT Toppin that helped preserve a tie game with just over a minute left, putting an exclamation mark on a strong defensive effort that held Toppin to 10 points and helped spur on Kansas' huge come-from-behind road victory. Bidunga got the better of Toppin and continues his impressive season for the resurgent Jayhawks, averaging 14.1 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.2 blocks while shooting 77.5-percent across 33.0 minutes since the start of the Big 12 conference slate.
