We're only two full weeks into the season, but college football betting outcomes can already be altered by untimely injuries.

This list is as of Sept. 10. The point system based on listings: Probable (1 point); Questionable (2 points); Doubtful (3 points); Out (5 points); Out for Season (10 points). Which CFB Teams Have Battled The Most Injuries in 2025?
The 2025 season has produced two straight wins for the ACC member out of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, but that's not to say that the fall has been smooth sailing for Wake Forest.
The Demon Deacons have 17 players on the team's injury report, ahead of Wake Forest's Week 3 home game on Thursday night against North Carolina State. In our scoring system, Wake (under new head coach Jake Dickert, above) has 69 points, eight clear of the next closest team.
The Demon Deacons are listed as a seven-point home underdog against the Wolfpack on DraftKings Sportsbook as of Sept. 10. Wake Forest looks to prove that the team's wins over Kennesaw State and Western Carolina weren't a fluke.
Wake needs another strong performance by senior quarterback Robby Ashford, one of the few Demon Deacon players not on the team's injury report this week. The Alabama native has 445 yards and a touchdown in two games through the air, along with 108 yards and two scores on the ground.

Outside of the Tar Heel State, the team battling the injury bug the hardest is the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, who have 15 players on the team's injury report against Norfolk State on Saturday afternoon, notching the Big Ten program 61 points in our calculations. That's three ahead of the Nebraska Cornhuskers and five ahead of the fourth-place Colorado Buffaloes.
The Scarlet Knights (2-0) have overcome their share of injuries to beat Ohio (34-31) and Miami of Ohio (45-17). Those wins over two MAC teams do little to show the country, or operators offering college football betting promos, that they're ready for the nine-game meat grinder that is the Big Ten conference season.
Other CFB Teams Struggling With Injuries
The story is much the same for the Cornhuskers, who have consecutive wins to open the season against Cincinnati (20-17) and Akron (68-0). A home game Saturday against Houston Christian closes their nonconference slate before Nebraska hosts No. 23 Michigan on Sept. 20.
The Cornhuskers' former Big 12 rivals from Boulder are 1-1 this season. Colorado opened with a loss to Georgia Tech (27-20) before blasting FBS newcomer Delaware, 31-7, on Saturday.
Outside of those five teams, the other CFB programs to make our injury list this week include the Texas Tech Red Raiders and Navy Midshipmen, who had matching scores of 54 points. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish (50 points), Illinois Fighting Illini (48), UCLA Bruins and UMass Minutemen (42 each) round out the collective as Week 3 gets underway over the weekend.
