Alex Orji News: Takes backseat to Colandrea

Orji did not attempt a pass in Friday's 38-21 win over Sam Houston State. He ran the ball three times for seven yards.

After ceding quarterback duties to Anthony Colandrea in the second half of UNLV's Week 0 opener, Orji found himself as the backup once again in Week 1, only entering the game for a handful of designed runs. While Orji could continue to see occasional usage in the run game, the starting job appears to belong to Colandrea going forward.
