Spence suffered what is believed to be a Grade 2 MCL Sprain in Vanderbilt's season opener, and he's questionable for Saturday's game against Virginia Tech, Robbie Weinstein of 247Sports reports.

Spence went catchless on one target in the season opener and picked up a sprained MCL. He'll continue to undergo evaluation in order to determine if he'll miss time, but for now, he's labeled as questionable. Spence could wear a brace and play through the injury once the swelling goes down.
