Jeremiah Cobb News: Could start for Alston

Cobb is in line to start for Damari Alston if the Tigers' starting running back can't go versus Ball State, per the Montgomery Advertiser.

Cobb got 16 carries for 74 yards and a touchdown in Auburn's season-opening win against Baylor. The tailback is now in line to start in Week 2 against Ball State should Alston be forced to sit out. Alston's injury isn't considered serious, but Cobb could be a main beneficiary if he's forced to miss a few weeks.
