Martin Connington Injury: Out vs. Western Michigan

Connington (undisclosed) won't play against Western Michigan in Week 1.

The kicker, who hurt himself during fall camp, won't be available for the Spartans' Week 1 clash with the Broncos. It's unclear who Michigan State will turn to, as fellow kicker Tarik Ahmetbasic is also out Friday night.
