Matthew Hibner News: Catches one pass in opener

Hibner had one reception (on two targets) for negative two yards during Saturday's 42-13 win against East Texas A&M.

Hibner was listed as the Mustangs' starting tight end for Saturday's game, but caught one of two targets for negative two yards. Hibner totaled 24 catches for 368 yards and four touchdowns last season, though most of his production came after tight end RJ Maryland suffered a torn ACL. Maryland, who's now listed on the depth chart as a wide receiver, caught three passes Saturday.
