2025 Fantasy Outlook
Edwards joined Mel Brown, Durell Robinson and Victor Rosa to form an impressive backfield combination in 2024, with Edwards ultimately leading the way and amassing 129 carries for 756 yards and seven touchdowns during the regular season, adding another 17 carries for 74 yards and a score during the bowl game. Early in the season, the Huskies also utilized dual-threat option Nick Evers for a lot of the ground attack, but Joe Fangnano emerged late in the season to handle the starting duties. While Evers siphoned away a chunk of the totes, the change to a more pro-style option in Fagnano should allow for more totes for Edwards and the backfield. Durell Robinson transferred to Auburn this offseason, leaving Edwards, Brown and Rosa as the primary options heading into 2025. But, we saw Edwards emerge down the stretch as the potential lead back in 2025, handling 43 percent of the team's carries over the final three contests compared to just 30 percent for the year. Even if he doesn't replicate that late-season mark over a full year in 2025, there's undoubtedly room for statistical improvement from him if his carry share increases. Read Past Outlooks
