2025 Receiving Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
After a breakout freshman campaign where he logged 83 receptions (fourth-most in the Mountain West) for 832 yards, Ashlock had a disappointing sophomore season, totaling just 61 receptions for 629 yards while falling behind Nick Cenacle on the depth chart. However, Ashlock is a prime bounce-back candidate as a junior in 2025 as one of the top options in Hawaii's air-raid offense. He's already shown some chemistry with new starting quarterback Micah Alejado in the Warriors' season finale against New Mexico, tallying eight receptions for 79 yards and a touchdown. While Cenacle is also returning this season, there should be more than enough chances for both wideouts to succeed. Under coach Timmy Chang, Hawaii threw the ball on 60.5 percent of their plays last season, and they shouldn't veer from that approach in 2025. Read Past Outlooks

Limited production vs. Arizona
Ashlock gathered in 6 of 8 targets for 24 yards during Saturday's 40-6 loss versus Arizona.
ANALYSIS
While Ashlock would tie Brandon White for the team lead in targets, the junior ultimately struggled to find a lot of space against the Arizona defense. Through two games this season, Ashlock has 15 receptions for 93 yards and a touchdown. He should have more success next week against Sam Houston, though quarterback Micah Alejado's (foot) status will be worth monitoring.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Hawaii's return to the run-and-shoot offense was on full display in 2023, and Ashlock was at the center of it, finishing with the most receptions on the team (83) and tying for the most receiving touchdowns at nine with Steven McBride. McBride took the receiving yards crown with 1,024, but an offseason suspension from criminal charges will likely keep McBride off the field for a prolonged time, meaning Ashlock should be the top option in the passing game in 2024. Starting quarterback Brayden Schager will return under center, and the offensive scheme should aid pass catchers again this season, so Ashlock will return to the field with all he needs to be a force for the Rainbow Warriors this campaign.
