While Eget was able to eclipse the 300-yard mark (something he did four times last season), his two interceptions proved to be costly in the Spartans' opening-game defeat. While it was a tough day overall for San Jose State, it's encouraging to see Eget display some early chemistry with a new cast of wideouts this year. The senior quarterback threw for 2,504 yards, 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 11 games last season.
