2025 Fantasy Outlook
The Chargers waited out the initial wave of free agency signings before scooping up Becton on a two-year, $20 million incentive-laden contract in mid March. The 2020 first-round pick saw his career revitalized by the offensive line factory that is the Philadelphia Eagles, and he'll be asked to immediately fix the seemingly constant void Los Angeles has had at right guard over the years. 2021
Becton has missed most of the past two seasons due to knee injuries, but the 2020 first-round pick has slimmed down heading into 2023 in hopes of rediscovering his strong rookie form. If he can stay healthy, the 6-foot-7 Becton has the talent to earn a starting offensive tackle role for the Jets.
After a promising rookie season as the Jets' starting left tackle in 2020, Becton hurt his MCL in the 2021 season opener and went on to miss the rest of the season. If he can get and stay healthy, Becton - who's listed at 6-foot-7 and 363 pounds - should occupy one of the starting tackle spots on New York's offensive line.
Becton battled through shoulder and chest injuries as a rookie, but the 11th overall pick in the 2020 draft still put forth a promising rookie campaign, establishing himself as the Jets' left tackle of the present and future. The 6-foot-7, 364-pound behemoth has the potential to turn into one of the league's most dominant offensive linemen, but Becton will need to stay healthy and in shape to live up to his high ceiling.

Unlikely to be back with Bolts
OGLos Angeles Chargers
January 26, 2026
Becton could be released by the Chargers this offseason, Tony Pauline of Essentially Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
The right guard was a disappointment in his first season with the team after signing a two-year, $20 million deal with the Chargers last offseason on the heels of winning a Super Bowl ring with the Eagles. Given the difficulties Los Angeles had protecting quarterback Justin Herbert in 2025 after starting tackles Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt were injured, a complete revamping of the interior offensive line could be coming. Becton would carry a dead cap hit of just $2.5 million if he were released.
