Heading into draft
WRFree Agent
January 5, 2026
Branch announced Monday that he will forgo his remaining eligibility at Georgia to enter the 2026 NFL Draft, Mark Schlabach of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The 5-foot-10, 180-pound receiver will be moving on to the NFL following three seasons of college football, the first two of which he spent at USC. After transferring to Georgia ahead of the 2025 campaign, Branch erupted for 81 catches for 811 yards and six touchdowns in 14 games as a junior. The 21-year-old is an elusive, twitchy receiver who projects as a true slot man at the next level. He's also a dynamic return man, which should help his draft stock come April.

Mocked in second round
WRFree Agent
February 3, 2026
Matt Miller of ESPN projected the Steelers to select Branch with the 53rd overall pick in his mock draft published Feb. 3.
ANALYSIS
Branch played three collegiate seasons, most recently at Georgia. He had a breakout campaign with the Bulldogs in 2025, racking up 81 receptions for 811 yards and six touchdowns across 14 games. As those numbers imply, he was used near the line of scrimmage frequently and relied on his ability to pick up yards after the catch for the majority of his chunk gains in college. That skillset could fit well in Mike McCarthy's West Coast offense.
