Max Greyserman

30-Year-Old Golfer
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Greyserman had a strong rookie season on the PGA Tour, eventually landing in the top 50 at season's end. His sophomore campaign wasn't quite as strong, but he managed to score a runner-up finish in the fall at the Baycurrent Classic, which pushed him into the top 50 on the money list. It really was a tale of two seasons for Greyserman in 2025. The first half brought a lot of consistency, but few high-end finishes, while the second half had little consistency, but two runner-ups. His rookie season was simply split between good and bad, so in that sense, showing the ability to play well in spots for the entire season was a growth point for Greyserman. With that said, the bar is set pretty high here and it's unclear if Greyserman's ceiling is much higher than what he's shown to this point. With that in mind, it's probably best to pass on him in salary cap leagues this season. Read Past Outlooks
Misses cut despite 64 in R1
February 2, 2026
Greyserman recorded a 36-hole score of two-under-par to miss the cut at last week's Farmers Insurance Open by one shot.
ANALYSIS
Greyserman found himself in a tie for third after firing an eight-under 64 during his opening round on the North Course at Torrey Pines, but he followed that up with a six-over 78 on the South Course to ultimately fall one stroke shy of the cutline. He hit just seven fairways and eight greens in regulation Friday, failing to card a single birdie in the process. Nonetheless, Greyserman will be back in action this week at TPC Scottsdale where he tied for 49th during his WM Phoenix Open debut last year.

2024
It was a tale of two seasons for Greyserman during his rookie season. The first half wasn't terrible, Greyserman managed a pair of top-10s, but at the halfway point of the season, it was reasonable to wonder if he'd have his card in 2025. Fast forward six months and he's in the running for ROY. Greyserman's second-half was outstanding, it included three runner-ups in the span of five events and not a single missed-cut after the U.S. Open (where his turnaround began). Did he set the bar too high for this season though? Greyserman does not have a history of winning on the PGA Tour, and while he had a lot of success this past season, he wasn't able to close out any of his three runner-ups, so the safe play would be to fade him in salary cap leagues this season and see how he progresses in year-two.
The former Duke Blue Devil remains winless through his first 91 career starts on the Korn Ferry Tour dating back to 2019, but he's a first-time PGA Tour card earner after finishing ninth on the KFT points list in 2023, thanks in large part to runner-up efforts at The Ascendant and the Pinnacle Bank Championship. Greyserman ranked top-10 on the KFT in both par-5 scoring and scrambling this past season, making 18 of 24 cuts along the way.
