2025 Fantasy Outlook
Celebrini led the Sharks with 63 points,22 power-play points and 236 shots on target while ranking second on the team with 25 goals across 70 appearances in 2024-25. He would’ve added to those totals if he hadn’t missed 12 games due to an injury after notching one goal and one assist in his NHL debut. He thrived in a top-line role as an 18-year-old while developing chemistry with Will Smith, Tyler Toffoli and William Eklund. Celebrini’s 10.6 shooting percentage should improve, and he could top 30 goals in 2025-26 while flirting with a point-per-game pace. Read Past Outlooks
Two points in Monday's loss
Celebrini produced a goal and an assist in Monday's 6-3 loss to Chicago.
ANALYSIS
The Sharks didn't even get on the board until midway through the second period, when they were already staring at a 4-0 hole. Celebrini still came away with his third multi-point performance in the last five games, and the 19-year-old phenom is up to 28 goals and 81 points through 54 games, putting him fourth in the NHL scoring race behind perennial Hart Trophy candidates Connor McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon and Nikita Kucherov. Celebrini remains on pace for a truly historic season -- only five teenagers in history have scored 100 or more points, with the last being Sidney Crosby (120 points in 2006-07).

2024 Fantasy Outlook
The silver lining for the Sharks' horrid 2023-24 campaign is that they were able to select Celebrini with the No. 1 overall pick. Although not quite touted as a generational talent like Connor Bedard, Celebrini is still expected to develop into an elite forward. With the Sharks focused on rebuilding, it would not be surprising to see Celebrini start the 2024-25 campaign on their first line and top power-play unit, potentially sharing the ice with Logan Couture in all situations, provided the veteran forward has fully recovered from his groin injury. Celebrini, who had 32 goals and 64 points across 38 contests with Boston University last season, is expected to be one of the main contenders for the Calder Trophy, and it would not be shocking to see him reach the 60-point mark as a rookie.
