Paul had a career-high 46 points over 82 regular-season games in 2023-24, and he followed that up with 41 points across 76 appearances last campaign. He also added two goals in five playoff outings for a second straight year. Paul may have found his offensive ceiling, crossing the 20-goal plateau and recording 40-plus points in each of the last two seasons. However, his hit and faceoff totals suffered in 2024-25. He split time between the top six and bottom six, which cut into his playing time, and he logged fewer minutes on the first power-play unit. If anything, he'll probably do a little worse offensively this campaign, though he will offer a bit of versatility for fantasy managers by supplying 100-125 hits. He's also strong on the draw, having won 54 percent of his faceoffs, 1,026 in total, over the past two seasons.
