No-shows UFC 324 defeat
HeavyweightUFC
January 24, 2026
Freeman lost to Josh Hokit via TKO (punches) at 4:59 of Round 1 at UFC 324 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
This was literally one of the worst performances you will ever see from a fighter in a bout which didn't end instantly. Freeman gave up a takedown less than 10 seconds in and was dominated for as long as it lasted.. He landed zero total strikes compared to 71 from Hokit. Simply put, Freeman didn't look prepared to fight. It would seem unlikely the UFC would cut the big man following just one setback, but stranger things have happened, especially when you take into account Freeman's age (34) and the fact he showed next to nothing in a unanimous decision win over Marek Bujlo in his company debut in November.

Undefeated opponent scheduled

Freeman will fight Josh Hokit at UFC 324 on Jan. 24, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Freeman picked up a win in his UFC debut against Marek Bujlo to extend his professional winning streak to three. Freeman will carry a 3.5-inch reach advantage into his next fight, but momentum will favor his opponent, who is a perfect 7-0 as a pro fighter.
Picks up debut win

November 23, 2025
Freeman defeated Marek Bujlo via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Qatar on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Freeman stepped in on relatively short notice for Jose Luiz to make his UFC debut overseas, and the results were positive for the 33-year-old. However, neither man was really able to get much going in this fight, as even Freeman landed only 49 significant strikes in the 15-minute affair. He was almost in some hot water after he gave up position due to a slip in Round 3, but he was able to bounce back to his feet, and the transition led to him landing a strong left hand, his best of the fight. While Freeman got the win, his body of work (or lack thereof) suggests he won't be much more than heavyweight roster depth.

Freeman is scheduled to compete against Marek Bujlo in a heavyweight fight at UFC Qatar on Nov. 22, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
At 33 years old, Freeman is a relatively late entry into the UFC. Despite his relative lack of experience, he has held his own professionally, with six wins (five finishes) in seven fights pre-UFC signing.
