Signs as Cadillac Test Driver
The Cadillac Formula 1 Team announced that nine-time NTT IndyCar Series race winner Herta will serve as a test driver as the team prepares to join the grid for the 2026 FIA Formula 1 World Championship season.

Herta's dream has been to compete in Formula 1 and it appears he's stepping back in that direction after a few years racing with IndyCar. He'll be a test driver for the new Cadillac F1 team and that opens the door to Herta potentially competing next season in F2.
