Alvaro Nunez Injury: Completes Celta move

Nunez (groin) is a new addition to Celta Vigo's roster following his departure from Elche, the club announced Monday.

Nunez is currently dealing with an injury that has sidelined him from the last three games, but before that, he was very active in different positions in defense and midfield while taking some set pieces for Elche throughout the campaign. The 25-year-old has provided two assists while tallying 63 crosses (21 accurate) and 20 chances created over 19 games this season. He could move ahead of Sergio Carreira and Javi Rueda in the race for a right wing-back spot as soon as he's healthy.
