Carles Gil News: Signs contract extension
Gil signed a contract extension with New England Revolution until June 2028, the club announced Monday.
Gil will continue to play a key role for a side in which he has found his best form during recent years, scoring 51 goals and 61 assists in 201 MLS appearances since 2019. The playmaker should continue to take plenty of set pieces, aiming to improve on his last season averages of 2.3 shots (0.9 on target), 3.1 chances created and 5.8 crosses (1.7 accurate) per contest.
