Emiliano Rigoni News: Released by Leon

Rigoni has left Leon after eight months with the team, who officially announced his departure Wednesday.

Rigoni barely found consistency in the Mexican league, tallying 11 shots (three on target), 32 crosses (eight accurate), one goal and one assist across 15 appearances (seven starts). He's expected to continue his career in Brazil, where he could show his skills on the wings. On the other hand, all of Ismael Diaz, James Rodriguez and Jordi Cortizo will see increased playing time for Leon.
