Ballo-Toure has signed with Metz out of free agency, according to his new club.

Ballo-Toure was training with Metz as he decided on the next step in his career, but he will instead remain with the club, signing a deal until the end of the 2025/26 season. He last started in nine of his 10 appearances with Le Havre last season, seeing a decent role with the team after joining in the winter window. He will now likely push to see starting time with Metz, although he has some ground to make up in the pecking order, likely to begin with a rotational spot.
