
Jailson News: Signs with LAFC
Jailson has signed a contract with LAFC through the remainder of the 2025 season with club options for 2026 and 2027, the club announced. "We are excited to welcome Jailson to LAFC. Beyond his quality and versatility on the field, he brings experience, professionalism, and the kind of character that fits with our culture. We are confident he will make an immediate impact and play an important role in our ambitions moving forward," said LAFC Co-President & General Manager John Thorrington.
Jailson joins the Black & Gold as a free agent after departing Celta Vigo after making 27 appearances in La Liga during the 2024/25 campaign. The Brazilian midfielder previously featured for Palmeiras, Fenerbahce, Dalian Pro, and Gremio, totaling over 250 career matches across Brazil, Turkey, China, and Spain. He began his professional career with Chapecoense in 2015 and has since built experience in both domestic and international competitions.
