Junior Adamu News: Loaned to Celtic

Adamu has completed a loan move from Freiburg to Celtic until the end of the season, his parent club announced. "Junior has undoubtedly always put the team first, but his playing time has recently been unsatisfactory for both him and us. We hope the loan to Celtic will bring new momentum," said sporting director Klemens Hartenbach.

Adamu joined Freiburg from RB Salzburg in the summer of 2024 and has since made 67 appearances across all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing four assists. In the current season, the center forward has featured nine times in the Bundesliga and nine times in cup competitions. Celtic Glasgow are the Scottish record champions and currently sit second in the Scottish Premiership.
