Lewis Miley Injury: Unlikely against Manchester City
Miley (knee) is unlikely for the Carabao Cup second leg against Manchester City on Wednesday and therefore remains also a doubt for Saturday's clash against Brentford, coach Eddie Howe said in the press conference. "Lewis I'm not sure will make this game either."
Miley was held out of the last match against Liverpool due to a knee injury that has since been confirmed as concerning, as he is unlikely to be available for Wednesday's Carabao Cup second leg against Manchester City. He is expected to be assessed in the coming hours and remains doubtful for now. If he is forced to miss additional time to fully recover, Joe Willock is expected to take on a larger role in the middle of the pitch for the Magpies.
