Malick Mbaye News: Heading to Zulte Waregem

Mbaye is leaving Metz to join Belgian club Zulte Waregem, his former team announced Monday.

Mbaye made five Ligue 1 appearances between November and January, tallying two shots, eight crosses, two chances created and 10 tackles, although he failed to score or assist over that span. The young forward is now set to look for more opportunities in Belgium after showing scoring potential in France's second division in 2025. Meanwhile, Gauthier Hein will likely see play a right-wing role for Metz for the remainder of the season.
