Mohamed Abdelmonem Injury: Resumes running

Abdelmonem (knee) has resumed running on Wednesday, according to Onze Masr.

Abdelmonem suffered an ACL injury back in April and was spotted running on Wednesday during his rehabilitation. This is positive news for the defender, although he remains far from getting back on the pitch, with a timeline for return planned for the beginning of next year. Abdelmonem was a rotational player last season with Nice and will likely resume that role once fully fit from his long term injury.
