Nayef Aguerd Injury: Won't make it Tuesday
Aguerd (groin) is ruled out for Tuesday's French Cup game against Rennes, the club posted.
Aguerd has been dealing with a groin issue since Saturday's draw against Paris FC, and the medical staff chose not to risk him in Tuesday's French Cup clash against Rennes. The center back will be hoping to recover in time for Sunday's Classico against Paris Saint-Germain, as he remains one of the defensive pillars under coach Roberto de Zerbi. That said, if he is forced to miss the match, Benjamin Pavard, Leonardo Balerdi and Facundo Medina would likely form the back-three for the Olympians.
