Nicolas Valentini News: Wins three tackles against Cagliari

Valentini (undisclosed) had two interceptions, three clearances and two blocks and won three of four tackles in Saturday's 4-0 defeat versus Cagliari.

Valentini didn't look great like the rest of the Verona rearguard, but padded his stats, setting a new season high in tackles. He'll likely face competition from newcomer Andrias Edmundsson eventually, and Armel Bella Kotchap (thigh) shouldn't miss much more time. Valentini has posted three or more clearances and at least one interception in his last four appearances (all starts), amassing 18 and six, respectively, with no clean sheets.
