Modesto has joined Palermo on loan with a conditional obligation to buy from Udinese.

Modesto had a limited role during his 18 months at Udinese, featuring 23 times but making just four starts and tallying 116 minutes in the first half of the season. He was the third option on each flank. Udinese elected to let him go even though Alessandro Zanoli just suffered a season-ending knee injury, leaving Kingsley Ehizibue as the lone pure option on the right wing.
