Scott Banks News: Joins Blackpool FC on loan

Banks has joined Blackpool FC on loan from St. Pauli for the 2025/26 season, his parent club announced. "Training is essential for a young player's development. Given the strong competition for attacking positions and his inability to join our U23 team due to his nationality, a loan to England is the best option for Scott to get back on the pitch regularly. We wish him every success at Blackpool," said Andreas Bornemann, Sporting Director of St. Pauli.

Banks initially joined St. Pauli on loan in August 2023 and was signed permanently from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024. In his first season, he only played four games due to injury. He added twelve more brief appearances the following season. Banks will now aim to secure decent minutes in England at Blackpool FC and continue his progression at senior level.
