Travis Hernes News: Loaned to FC Groningen
Hernes has joined Dutch side FC Groningen on loan for the 2025/26 season, his parent club announced.
Hernes joined Newcastle United in 2023 from Shrewsbury Town where he scored on his professional debut at 16-years-old during an EFL Trophy encounter against Wolves. Hernes has been a regular fixture for the under-21s so far this term and will now head to the Eredivisie to join a Groningen side to continue his progression and secure a decent amount of minutes at senior level.
