Elite NBA DFS Players

Guards

Donovan Mitchell, Cavaliers ($9,600) at Clippers

Mitchell is coming off back-to-back lackluster outings and will look to bounce back against the Clippers. The star guard has tallied 42.3 or more DK points in four of his last six outings and closed with 59.5 in a win over the Clippers on Nov. 23.

Anthony Edwards, Timberwolves ($9,400) at Raptors

Edwards is listed as questionable due to left elbow soreness, so his status will be worth monitoring ahead of tipoff at 7:30 p.m. ET. The superstar is coming off a 39-point performance in Monday's loss to Memphis and has posted at least 44.0 DK points in seven of his last eight appearances.

Forwards/Centers

Nikola Jokic, Nuggets ($11,700) at Knicks

Jokic is set to suit up in the second leg of this back-to-back set, though it wouldn't be shocking to see the Nuggets monitor his playing time. Still, the three-time MVP has dropped at least 36.3 DK points while playing limited minutes in all three of his outings following a 16-game absence due to a left knee bone bruise. During that span, he has averaged 23.7 points, 11.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 2.0 steals across 29.0 minutes per tilt.

Victor Wembanyama, Spurs ($10,000) vs. Thunder

While the Thunder are usually one of the toughest opponents in the NBA, Wembanyama will have a prime opportunity to stuff the stat sheet with several of Oklahoma City's key contributors sidelined in the second leg of a back-to-back set, including Chet Holmgren (back) and Isaiah Hartenstein (eye). Wembanyama has registered at least 45.0 DK points in four of his last five outings, averaging 22.2 points, 12.4 rebounds, 3.8 blocks, 1.8 assists and 1.6 steals in 30.4 minutes per contest over that stretch.

Alperen Sengun, Rockets ($9,700) vs. Celtics

Sengun enters a relatively favorable matchup against a Boston squad that is missing multiple players on the second night of a back-to-back set. The star big man has logged 42.5-plus DK points in four of his last five outings and dropped 48.0 in a win over Boston on Nov. 1.

Expected NBA DFS Chalk

Kawhi Leonard, Clippers ($9,300) vs. Cavaliers

With Darius Garland (toe/recently traded) and Ivica Zubac (personal) out, Leonard should see a heavy workload Wednesday. The star forward hasn't recorded fewer than 37.3 DK points since Dec. 15 and will look to remain productive against Cleveland. Over his last six outings, Leonard has averaged 24.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.2 steals in 28.5 minutes per tilt.

Mid-Range NBA DFS Picks

Kyle Kuzma, Bucks ($6,700) vs. Pelicans

Kuzma has taken on an increased role in the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf), and the former will have another opportunity to produce solid numbers against a lackluster Pelicans defense. Additionally, Bobby Portis (hip) has already been ruled out, leaving one less mouth to feed for Milwaukee. Kuzma has contributed 34.0 or more DK points in four of his last five appearances, averaging 18.8 points, 8.4 rebounds and 5.6 assists in 33.4 minutes per game during that stretch.

Aaron Wiggins, Thunder ($5,700) at Spurs

It would take less time to tell you who is playing for the Thunder on the second night of this back-to-back set than who isn't. Fortunately for Wiggins, he'll be one of only eight Thunder players available Wednesday and should see a sizable workload. As a starter this season (13 games), the 27-year-old forward has averaged 13.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.6 combined steals-plus-blocks and 2.3 assists across 28.0 minutes per game, though he'll likely see increased minutes against San Antonio.

NBA DFS Value Picks

Cason Wallace, Thunder ($4,800) at Spurs

The 22-year-old guard figures to enter the starting five and should take on increased playmaking duties due to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (abdomen) and several other key contributors being sidelined. Wallace has racked up 21.0 or more DK points in five of his last six starts, during which he has averaged 10.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals in 25.3 minutes per tilt. Additionally, he's expected to see a bump in minutes Wednesday.

Jaylen Wells, Memphis ($4,600) at Kings

The Grizzlies will remain shorthanded Wednesday after trading Jaren Jackson (not injury related), John Konchar (neck), Jock Landale (not injury related) and Vince Williams (not injury related) to Utah on Tuesday. Wells has notched at least 23.5 DK points in three straight games, averaging 14.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 26.3 minutes per game over that stretch. He has yet to finish with fewer than 20.3 DK points across two games against Sacramento so far this season.

Branden Carlson, Thunder ($3,500) at Spurs

The Thunder will be extremely shorthanded for Wednesday's contest, and Carlson figures to play a meaningful role in this one. The two-way player is a cost-effective option to fill out your lineup, and he has been productive when he sees significant playing time. He hasn't supplied fewer than 18.3 DK points when he logs 20-plus minutes. In those six outings, Carlson has averaged 11.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 22.2 minutes per game.
