Miller made a strong case to make the Giants' 53-man roster after logging 14 catches (on as many targets) for 135 yards and 26 carries for 80 yards across three preseason games. He ultimately didn't make the cut after the Giants opted to go with three running backs on the main roster in Tyrone Tracy, Devin Singletary and rookie fourth-rounder Cam Skattebo. An eligibility issue prevented Miller from playing in what would have otherwise been his final college season in 2023, but the Giants signed him as an undrafted free agent after he unofficially ran the 40 in 4.27 seconds at South Carolina's Pro Day. The 5-foot-9, 200-pounder joins a mostly inexperienced New York backfield that includes fellow rookie Tyrone Tracy along with second-year back Eric Gray behind veteran Devin Singletary. Miller offers intriguing speed and could carve out a role with the Giants in 2024, especially if either Tracy or Gray underperforms or goes down with an injury.
