Staying with G-Men
The Giants signed Miller to the practice squad Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Miller made a strong case to make the Giants' 53-man roster after logging 14 catches (on as many targets) for 135 yards and 26 carries for 80 yards across three preseason games. He ultimately didn't make the cut after the Giants opted to go with three running backs on the main roster in Tyrone Tracy, Devin Singletary and rookie fourth-rounder Cam Skattebo. Miller will stick around in New York on the Giants' practice squad, and he would be a top candidate to be elevated to the active roster if Tracy, Singletary or Skattebo were unavailable to play.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
An eligibility issue prevented Miller from playing in what would have otherwise been his final college season in 2023, but the Giants signed him as an undrafted free agent after he unofficially ran the 40 in 4.27 seconds at South Carolina's Pro Day. The 5-foot-9, 200-pounder joins a mostly inexperienced New York backfield that includes fellow rookie Tyrone Tracy along with second-year back Eric Gray behind veteran Devin Singletary. Miller offers intriguing speed and could carve out a role with the Giants in 2024, especially if either Tracy or Gray underperforms or goes down with an injury.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
No room on Giants' 53-man roster?
Despite strong performances in training camp and the preseason, Dan Duggan of The Athletic omits Miller from his projected 53-man roster for the Giants ahead of Tuesday's cutdown day.
ANALYSIS
Miller's biggest push for a spot on the roster has been as a receiving option, and he finished the preseason leading all Giants players with 14 catches on as many targets for 135 yards while adding 26 carries for 80 yards across three games. Duggan has the Giants carrying Tyrone Tracy, Devin Singletary and rookie fourth-rounder Cam Skattebo as the three running backs on the 53-man squad. Miller is an option to be stashed on the practice squad if he clears waivers, and he would be a candidate to be called up for regular-season games if the Giants' backfield were to be down a man due to injury.
