The Falcons signed Simon to the practice squad Wednesday, Terrin Waack of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Simon entered training camp as a longshot to make the 53-man roster, but he impressed the coaching staff enough to stick around on the practice squad. The undrafted rookie out of South Carolina will provide the Falcons depth at tight end and could be elevated to the active roster if Kyle Pitts, Charlie Woerner, Teagan Quitoriano or Feleipe Franks were to miss time.

ANALYSIS
Simon's 4.65-second 40-yard dash was impressive given his 6-foot-4, 239-pound frame, and he impressed in the jumps with a 38-inch vertical and 10-foot-4 broad jump. The tight end out of South Carolina also ran smooth routes and displayed soft hands in drills. Reuter believes Simon could hear his name called as soon as Round 4 in the 2025 NFL Draft.
