Rest-of-Season Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Hooker is coming off a 2024 season in which he recorded a career-high 81 tackles while starting all 17 games for the Cowboys, an impressive performance for a 29-year-old whose early years in the NFL earned him an injury-prone label. He'll be reunited this year with former defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus, but that may not be a positive for Hooker's production as his per-game numbers were fairly modest while the duo was together in Indianapolis. After four injury-plagued seasons with the Colts, Hooker has stayed mostly healthy in two years with the Cowboys and shown he still has the talent that made him a first-round pick in 2017. Last year's 62 tackles were a personal best, while his three interceptions tied the career-high mark he set as a rookie, and he's a key part of Dallas' three-headed safety corps that also featured Donovan Wilson and Jayron Kearse.

ANALYSIS
Hooker is trending in the right direction to play Sunday and all signs point toward that being the case -- unless he suffers an unexpected setback. It's worth noting that Hooker hasn't played a single snap since tearing his Achilles tendon in Week 2 last year.
