2025 Fantasy Outlook
There were very few concerns about Sweat's ability on the field during the pre-draft process, though conditioning and off-field issues caused him to drop to the second round. The Titans' decision to take a chance on him paid off handsomely as he logged 667 defensive snaps and proved to be a strong run stuffer while racking up 51 total tackles. There likely isn't much more upside in his profile, but Sweat will be a stalwart along Tennessee's defensive line in 2025. Read Past Outlooks
Off injury report

ANALYSIS
Sweat underwent surgery in mid-August to remove his tonsils, which caused him to miss the Titans' final two games of the preseason. He appears to have fully recovered from the procedure and is on track to play in Sunday's regular-season opener against Denver. The 2024 second-rounder finished his rookie season with 51 tackles (22 solo), including 1.0 sacks, one pass defense, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery across 17 regular-season games.

Sweat is a throwback to a former era of football, as he stands at a hulking 6-5 and 366 pounds. There's really only one role for a player of that size, which is to plug the middle of the trenches and occupy multiply offensive lineman in the process, and he should do that plenty after being selected in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Sweat did show the ability to get into the backfield in college, though that may not translate to the pros, limiting his appeal from a fantasy perspective - particularly as a rookie.
