Diogo Dalot Injury: Withdraws from international duty

Dalot has withdrawn from international duty with Portugal after suffering muscle discomfort in training, the club announced Thursday.

The extent of the injury will be fully revealed once Dalot is assessed by Manchester United's medical staff at Carrington, but he won't be fit enough to represent his country during the break. It remains to be seen if Dalot will be fit to face Manchester City once the Premier League resumes on Sep. 14, but if he's not, Patrick Dorgu, Amad Diallo and Noussair Mazraoui are options to play the wing-back roles.
