Caoimhin Kelleher
26-Year-Old
Brentford
Premier
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Kelleher had been the long-term backup for Liverpool, starting 10 games each of the last two seasons. He now gets the chance to be an unquestioned starter after making the switch to Brentford to replace Mark Flekken. Kelleher has shown plenty of potential as a backup, keeping four clean sheets and only conceding 12 goals in 10 matches last season. Brentford don't have the most rigid defense, conceding 57 goals last season, which means Kelleher could be busy for the Bees. Last season, Flekken made a ridiculous 153 saves to go with seven clean sheets. It's unclear how he will handle the heavy shot volume, but Kelleher has been one of the better backups in the Premier League and is at the very least an intriguing option as a starter.

Concedes twice in loss
Kelleher registered one save and allowed two goals in Saturday's 2-1 defeat against Sunderland.
ANALYSIS
Kelleher mustered just one save from three Sunderland shots on target Saturday as Brentford were undone by a second-half stoppage time goal in a 2-1 road loss. Through the Bees' first three league fixtures, their new No. 1 keeper has made five saves and five clearances while conceding five goals and recording one clean sheets. Kelleher's next challenge is likely to come Sept. 13 when Brentford host second place Chelsea.
