Vanhoutte is making a new move to France at age 26, leaving Belgium for Nice on a deal until 2029. He worked his way up the Belgian Leagues before his time with Union, starting in 43 of his 46 appearances last season while bagging one goal and nine assists. That said, he is a midfielder who has the promise to work into a larger role, although there is a host of names in front of him he will have to pass, joining a few games into the season.
