Federico Bernardeschi
31-Year-Old
Bologna
Serie A
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Bernardeschi's third season in MLS was his most prolific to date, as his 13 goal involvements were the most during his time in Toronto. The attacker played in 29 of 34 games, starting 28, as he avoided injuries to be a regular starter throughout the season. That said, Bernardeschi is not really producing at a level expected from most designated players, especially one who is among the top-five paid in the league. The forward's lack of end product may be a concern, but the effort is there as he finished with team highs in shots, crosses and chances created while taking set pieces for Toronto. Bernardeschi will continue to be one of the key figures at the club in 2025 and has a solid floor for fantasy managers, though his ceiling will depend on an improvement in conversion rate.
Doesn't star in Genoa loss
Bernardeschi (shoulder) was an unused sub in Sunday's 3-2 loss to Genoa.
ANALYSIS
Bernardeschi was available after skipping seven matches because of a broken collarbone, but the coach leaned on Jonathan Rowe and Riccardo Orsolini in this one. He'll primarily divvy up minutes with the former going forward, but he'll also be in the mix in the no.10 position, competing with Jens Odgaard, if the team doesn't bring in another player to substitute for Giovanni Fabbian, who headed to Fiorentina.

Could join Toronto FC
Bernardeschi has received an offer from Toronto FC, but they need to offload a designated player before signing him, Gianluca Di Marzio reports.
ANALYSIS
Bernardeschi is a free agent after leaving Juventus, and his market has been tepid at best so far. Toronto FC have already brought in two Italian players, Lorenzo Insigne and Domenico Criscito, and they are going after a third one. They could make room for him by trading Alejandro Pozuelo to Inter Miami, SportsNet informs.
