Keeps clean sheet in victory
Hermansen registered three saves and secured a clean sheet in Sunday's 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest.
ANALYSIS
Hermansen kept a shutout at the City Ground on Sunday, making three saves as Forest put three efforts on target from 11 shots. He handled a Chris Wood header right after halftime and stayed composed under nine Forest corners. The clean sheet against Nottingham was his first of the season after conceding eight goals across the opening two league games. Hermansen will look to build on that performance after the international break when the Hammers host Spurs at home.

Ruled out remainder of season
Hermansen underwent groin surgery and will miss the remainder of the season, coach Ruud van Nistelrooy said in a press conference. "It's better to do it now so he is ready, instead of delaying. It's the problem that he had when he missed games and Jakub filled in very well, in December and January. It's still that issue and it's being taken care of so he can work on his recovery to be fit for pre-season."

ANALYSIS
West Ham are closing in on an £18 million deal for the Denmark and Leicester City goalkeeper. If that goes through, Hermansen would have to fight for the starting role with Alphonse Areola. It would also end the club's pursuit of Brazilian goalkeeper John, who's currently under contract at Botafogo.
