Seattle Seahawks RB Roles
Team: Seattle Seahawks
Last Update:   8/27/2025
RB Overview
Role Security: High
8/27/25 - Kenneth Walker remains the lead back but has yet to top 230 carries in a season. He set a career high with 53 targets in 2024 and may stay involved as a receiver. Zach Charbonnet will operate as the change-of-pace option and could handle full-time duties if Walker misses time. George Holani is in the mix for a backup role.
WR Overview
8/27/25 - Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the top wideout after averaging 7.5 targets per game from Week 12 on. With DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett gone, Smith-Njigba could take on even more volume. Cooper Kupp will operate as the No. 2 and offer weekly consistency. Rookie Tory Horton should be the clear No. 3 WR, though Jake Bobo could split that No. 3 role.
TE Overview
8/27/25 - Rookie Elijah Arroyo was drafted to push for top pass-catching tight end duties. Arroyo has a strong chance to win the job. AJ Barner should be the lead blocking TE who also sees targets.
